Fx2 Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and enthusiastic Shop Manager to join a well-established charity retail organisation for their Furniture store in Galway City.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially focused, hands-on Retail Manager who enjoys leading teams, driving sales and delivering excellent customer service while contributing to a meaningful cause.

Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day running of the shop, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Drive sales performance, achieve agreed financial targets and maximise profitability.
Lead, motivate and develop a team of employees and volunteers to deliver strong results.
Provide ongoing coaching, training and support to encourage team development and engagement.
Maintain high standards of visual merchandising, shop presentation and brand standards.
Monitor sales performance, identify commercial opportunities and implement initiatives to increase revenue.
Oversee stock management, replenishment, stockroom organisation and inventory control.
Ensure the shop is welcoming, attractive and well presented, both internally and externally.
Manage daily administration, financial procedures and reporting in line with company policies.
Create a positive and inclusive team environment while maintaining excellent operational standards.
Essential Requirements
Previous retail experience, ideally within a management or supervisory role.
Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team.
Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example on the shop floor.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Desirable Experience
Previous experience within charity retail or a similar retail environment.
Strong brand awareness and visual merchandising skills.
Experience managing or supporting volunteers.
